We are delighted to support your child's smooth transition. This plan outlines key dates and activities to help them settle in confidently. At the bottom of this page you will find a downloadable copy of this information if you would like to print it off. 

Home Visits - Summer Term

Bridget Williams will be conducting home visits to get to know you and your child in a comfortable environment. These visits will take place during the following weeks: 

• 9th June 
• 16th June
• 23rd June 
• 30th June 

Open Afternoon

Join us for an open afternoon to explore the school, meet our staff and participate in fun activities.

Tuesday 8th July 2025	15:00 - 17:00

Individual School Visits 

Your child will have the opportunity to visit the school individually to familiarise themselves with the environment and meet their teacher. 

Date:  3rd September 

Specific times for these visits will be communicated separately.

School Opening - Autumn Term 

We recognise that some of our pupils will need an enhanced transition and this will be decided upon in close partnership with the pupil, their family and the school. We acknowledge that this could look very different for each individual and are committed to making sure we get it right for every young person. 

Thinking ahead - Autumn Term 

It is planned that we will have an additional 8 primary-aged pupils join the school in January 2026. Once places are confirmed with the LA then we will begin our transition process again.
