Hello! I’m Caroline, and I’m a TA at Castlebridge School. I have worked in various schools over the years. I noticed there was a real shortage of specialist TA’s who could really understand and empathise with students who have additional needs and who don’t necessarily ‘fit’ in a mainstream setting.

For the last 10 years, I have worked in SEN settings. I love being able to get to know each student as an individual, to see the look on their faces when, maybe for the first time in their education, someone has actually had the time/ space to listen to them and adapt the learning just for them. I love seeing these students thrive and leave education with more confidence than they started with. I am passionate about helping each one of our students get the absolute best out of their time here at Castlebridge.

In my spare time, I love long walks on the moors with my husband and 2 dogs, trying new craft activities (some with better results than others!) and exploring our local area in my very old camper van.
